This event offers an exclusive, in-person VIP Networking Reception in the Market from 5:30pm - 6:30pm followed by a live-streamed panel discussion starting at 6:30pm.
VIP Networking Reception is hosted in-person at Reading Terminal Market. Purchase of ticket is required ($45) and a professional photographer will provide headshots to attendees. Enjoy a "Taste of the Market" selection of hors d'oeuvres and light non-alcoholic refreshments.

Paul Steinke: Civic and non-profit leader with a proven track record in neighborhood revitalization, placemaking and historic preservation. Real estate experience includes property management, leasing and financing. Experienced in building coalitions among business, government and non-profit organizations. Proficient in fundraising, budgeting, brand marketing, human resource management and public speaking. Passionate Philadelphian committed to finding ways to improve the quality of life and image of one of the nation's most vibrant and livable cities.
Conor Murphy: A longtime advocate for small business growth and opportunity, and social business investment, Conor grew up in County Kerry, Ireland as the son of shopkeepers in his family’s multi-generational grocery shop. Prior to joining the Reading Terminal Market, he worked in the coffee industry for a Philadelphia roaster before launching his own venture. Conor began his career at Ernst & Young in risk advisory before moving to Haiti to set-up a Foundation leveraging relationships with governments and investors to create social enterprise, agribusiness, and philanthropic initiatives. Effective and creative in complex situations as a result of his first response work during and after the Haiti earthquake, Murphy is the proud resident of the great city of Philadelphia and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from University College Cork.
Anuj Gupta: Former General Manager for Reading Terminal Market for nearly five years before embracing a wonderful opportunity to pursue a career in politics by accepting the role as chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Dwight Evans (D., Pa.). During his tenure, Gupta launched an online ordering and grocery delivery program, created a customer service center and implemented the market ambassador initiative, in which volunteers help customers navigate the market. Gupta also buckled down on community engagement initiatives, converting the destination into a hub for cultural celebrations including an annual Lunar New Year celebration and Diwali and Black History Month festivals.
