Calling all young chefs! Join us in City Kitchen with Chef Jamie Zwier to learn the ins and outs of cooking with fun fresh ingredients. In this class, our young chefs will be introduced to colorful & fresh whole food ingredients that they will use to create delicious recreations of their favorite foods/ sweet treats! Our kid-friendly class will teach students to use alternative tools and technics to create recipes for the perfect snack or after-school activity to recreate at home!
In addition to hands-on cooking lessons, students will also take part in an interactive & enrichment activity - empowering kids with the information & resources that will help them make positive food & lifestyle choices all year long!
Sample recipes include Fruit & Yogurt Parfaits, Oatmeal Cookie Bites, No-Bake Pizzas, Guacamole Toast, Etc. Students walk away with a meal, recipe card & activity.
All recipes are nut-free and can be made to accommodate food allergies
Vaccinations are required for all indoor in-person events. Everyone who enters has completed their COVID vaccinations. Completing vaccinations means that they have completed the series of any vaccine that has been approved or authorized by either the Food and Drug Administration or the World Health Organization to prevent COVID-19.
Proof of vaccination and photo ID will be required upon entry
People with proof of valid religious or medical exemptions and children under five years and three months are exempt from the mandate.
