This fun and educational kids summer camp program is presented by Chefs Megan Haupt and Jenn Edwardson, our partners at Hungry Education. (visit http://www.hungryeducation.com/ for more info). From 9am - 1pm for 5 days, this half day camp will inspire your young chefs, bakers, and artists. This exciting culinary expeirence is also designed to help your child develop a healthy relationship with food. This week will be filled with fun and interactive food and craft lessons based on cuisines from around the world, all found here at ReadingTerminal.
Camp goers will learn how to make a variety of delicious healthy eats, treats and sweets while learning about the cultures of Italy, the Middle East, Mexico, Asia, and the Pennsylvania Dutch. Chef Jenn will also engage kids by creating arts and crafts that also represent these cultures.
City Kitchen's camp includes all the supplies for food & crafts, printed recipes for the kids to use at home, snacks and lunch each day.
Camp is July 17-21 (Monday-Friday) from 9am-1pm.
**This is a NUT FREE camp. Allergy ALERT: we are using eggs, flour, and dairy in many of our recipes. Please let us know of any allergies and food sensitivities when registering. We will try to accommodate wherever we can.
The last day to register is JULY 5.
